SAI started in the year 2004 with a focus of producing feed for poultry (commercial and breeder), cattle, fish, pig, goats, pet dogs, and others.

The company aims to provide quality compound feed to the farmers to increase the productivity and yield of the existing farms. The feed provided by SAI is sold under the brand name Sunaulo Feed. It maintains the standard FCR and productivity that results in less feed required for more output, at the same time the animals raised by farmers are healthier. Sunaulo Feed is prepared according to Quality Management System and undergoes extensive quality control so that the feed always remains of international standard.

SAI sells its feed through a wide range of dealers, sub-dealers as well as, directly through Shreenagar Agri Centers. Shreenagar AgriTech Industries provides technical and managerial services to farmers and upcoming agri entrepreneurs. The factory is based in Rupandehi with the corporate office in Tangal, Kathmandu.

Shreenagar has set up Shreenagar Agri Centers in Kathmandu, Kavre, and Rupandehi to provide farmers the complete ‘One Stop Solution’ for integrated services under the brand name Sunaulo Service.

These centers provide farmers with agri-inputs - day old chicks and feed, technical services, market linkage and access to finance and insurance. Veterinary doctors and technicians at the agri centers provide regular visits to the existing customers and help to start up businesses for potential entrepreneurs. These Agri Centers have also been instrumental in supporting farmers for business planning and scale up.

For access to finance/insurance, we link our farmers with banks, micro finance and insurance companies; guiding them through the banking and documentation process. Through agri centers, we try to reach out to marginalized women, youth, and differently-abled people to create employment. Shreenagar Agri Centers also act as the linkage platform with other services like market linkage, a point to buy back goods from farmers, and also helps with incubation and management. Shreenagar Agri Centers also work with lead model farmers called as Shree Kisan.

Sunaulo Feed

Shreenagar Agro Farm (SAF) has been producing quality mash and pellet feed for commercial layers, broilers, pig and cattle under the brand name Sunaulo Feed. Sunaulo Feed is manufactured from state-of-the-art machine and technology imported from the Netherlands. It is formulated under supervision of internationally recognised specialists from the animal health and poultry sector.

Him Dana

Shreenagar Agritech Industries Private Limited launched Him Dana - floating fish feed with technical assistance from international and national fisheries experts. Him Dana is suitable for cold water fish like mountain trout as well as warm water fish like carps, pangus and tilapia in the mid-hills and Terai.
Most of the fish farmers still use conventional feeding practice of rice bran and mustard de-oiled cakes as fish feed. The warm water fish production from use of these conventional fish feed has not exceeded 3 MT per bigha, this deteriorates the quality of water and increases the mortality of fish.
